Gomoku is a free place to play the classic five-in-a-row game in your browser.
What this site offers
Play against the computer, take turns with someone beside you, or meet a random online opponent. The board has 15 × 15 intersections. No account is needed, and the computer and same-screen modes run in the browser.
How online play works
Choose a unique nickname and select Find opponent. We match two waiting players and randomly assign Black and White. If nobody else is searching, you stay in the queue; the site does not substitute a bot. Supabase validates moves and stores results. Each turn allows 90 seconds. Resigning, leaving an unfinished match, or running out of time counts as a loss. Refreshing the page restores an active match using the player identity saved in your browser.
Our rules
This version uses freestyle Gomoku: five or more consecutive stones win, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally. Renju forbidden-move rules are not used. See the full game guide for examples and tips.
